Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
The purchase of any Items on the Website is subject to the following Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws. By ordering any Items (as defined below), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions apply to the sale of Items which are ordered on this Website, to the exclusion of any other terms and condition, including but not limited to your terms of purchase.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
We may change these Terms and Conditions at any time, and any changes will take effect on the date they are posted on our Website. Those changes will not affect any orders you submitted before the change (if any). You accept and agree to these Contract terms as modified by continuing to use our Website after posting any changes.
In these Terms and Conditions:
- The “Contract” means contract between you and us for sale and purchase of products which includes these Terms and Conditions;
- The “Contract Documents” means Terms and Conditions. The Ordering Web Pages, the descriptions and specifications of the Items on our Website and our e-mails to you acknowledging and/or accepting your order;
- The “Delivery Charges” means the delivery charges for your order stated in the Ordering Web Pages. And any order confirmation e-mail which we send to you;
- The “Items” mean the products which you are purchasing under the Contract;
- The “Price” means the price of Items. As stated in the relevant Ordering Web Pages and any order confirmation e-mail which we send to you;
- The “Ordering Web Pages” means the pages of the Website. Through which you ordered your Items, comprising your shopping basket and the checkout and other ordering pages generated by our Website and sent to your browser’s specific to your orders.
- “You” and “Your” means the person purchasing the Items from us; and
- “Working Day” or “Business Day” means Monday to Friday, except bank or other public holidays in Ireland.
How the Contract is Made
Your order to us is your offer to purchase the Items subject to and on the basis of these Terms and Conditions, subject to our acceptance. You are entitled to withdraw your offer at any time up to moment that we accept it.
Acceptance of your order
Your order is accepted, and the Contract is made, when we send you an e-mail acknowledging or otherwise confirming receipt of your order, or if we do not send such an e-mail, when we dispatch the Items.
Declining your order
If we decline your order for any reason we will normally e-mail or telephone you to inform you, and give you our reasons. We will not normally accept any order until we have received pre-payment in full of the Price, Delivery Charges, VAT and other amounts payable in respect of the order. Other reasons may include that the Price, offer, or product has changed or because any of the Items you have ordered are not available.
Sale and Purchase
On acceptance of your order, we agree to sell to you and you agree to purchase from us the Items specified in the Contract Documents.
The Item will be the same description as specified in the Ordering Web Pages, which will correspond to the essential characteristics, description and specification set out in our Website at the time of order. We will not be responsible for any differences between description of the products on our website and requirements of manufacturer. We will also not be responsible for minor variations in specification, colour, size or other design features, and no such minor variation shall entitle you to rescind the Contract, reject the Items or be the subject of any claim against us.
You agree to pay the Price, Delivery Charges and any protection plus or other charges stated in the Ordering Web Pages, in accordance with the terms of the Contract. The Price, Delivery Charges and all other amounts payable under the Contract are including of Value Added Tax. Which we may charge in addition at the rate applicable from time to time and which shall be payable at the same time as the amount on which it is charged.
Payment with Order
Unless credit terms have been agreed, payment of the Price, Delivery Charges, and all other fees and amounts must be made with your order.
We accept payment by PayPal, MasterCard, Visa, Laser, and such other cards as may be stated on our Website from time to time. Payment is deducted when we process your order, if payment is due with order. If your payment cannot be authorized or cleared for any reason we will tell you.
Delivery will be to the delivery address selected or provided by you in the Ordering Web Pages. If no address was selected, then delivery will be to the address at which your payment card is registered. Or to any other address you have provided. Please note that we only deliver to premises located in the Republic of Ireland.
We are using An Post for delivery and it will take around 2-5 business days.
Delivery Costs and Methods
Because of we are selling cheap items, the delivery should be cheap as much as possible. Your order can be dispatched by one of these 3 ways:
– Standard Delivery (No Tracking Number and No Signature)
– Express Delivery (With Tracking Number and No Signature)
– Express Delivery with Signature (With Tracking Number and Signature).
Depending on the value and weight of your order, 5euro will choose the appropriate delivery method. we will give you an email with details of delivery once your order has been sent. In all situation, you will pay a flat rate €2.99 for orders less than €29.99 and you will get free delivery for orders over €29.99.
Failure to Receive the Items
If delivery is attempted within our stated delivery hours and you are not present to collect the Items or you unreasonably refuse to take delivery of the Items, then we may charge you our reasonable costs of returning the Items to the depot, our reasonable costs of storage, and our reasonable charge for re-delivering the Items at another time. We will store the Items for a maximum of 15 days, after which we may sell the Items.
Inspection on Delivery
When you receive the Items you should immediately inspect them for damage and faults, and you should inform us within 48 hours if you do not consider that you have received the Items you ordered, and within 14 Working Days of receipt of the Items if you consider that the Items are faulty or damaged, otherwise the Items will be considered to have been correctly delivered, free from damage or faults and in Items working order. This is without prejudice to any harm or fault that you could not notice on fair inspection of the products.
Your Right to Cancel
You can cancel the contract for your order within 14 working days starting from the day after you receive your order.
If you need to cancel your order contact our Customer Services team. Please have your order number ready to help speed things up.
If the order has been dispatched to you prior to cancellation. You have a legal obligation to keep the products in your possession and to take reasonable care of them.
If you cancel your contract. you will respond to return the items back to us and we will give you a refund without shipping cost.
As a consumer, you always have legal rights in relation to products that are faulty or not as described. These legal rights aren’t affected by the above returns policy.
When can I NOT cancel?
- If the item can’t be used once it opened.
- The Items are damaged or marked in any way or have unreasonable wear or are otherwise not in a condition consistent with your having taken reasonable care of them.
- The items are in a state that they’ll never be re-sold or for more than 80% of their original value.
- 5euro has the right to check the item’s condition and can decide if the item can be cancelled or not.
How do I cancel?
When do I receive my Refund?
We aim to process all returns within 3 – 5 working days of receipt. Please also bear in mind that it may take up to 7 working days for it to get to us. You’ll then need to allow an additional 7 working days for your refund/exchange. We’ll send you an email to let you know we have processed your return request once it’s been done.
If you request a refund we’ll automatically refund your original payment method. As our prices are so low our products can sell out quickly. If we no longer have the exchange item that you’re requesting, a refund will simply be issued. If this is the case we’ll send you an email to let you know.
Returning Items to Us
Because of all items in our website is less than 5e, the cost of returning item can be more than the item value. So, please contact us first before returning the item and we will let you know what you can do.
We prefer to send us an email with all the details so that we will have a look and will come back to you with the action plan.
Please ensure that you return the items and keep your receipt as proof of your return. 5Euro can’t be held responsible for any items that may be damaged or go missing in transit.
Please note, returns postage will only be refunded if the goods are faulty or were sent incorrectly.

The Contract Documents constitute the entire agreement between you and us for the sale and purchase of the Items. No other communications or representations between you and us, whether written or oral, shall bind us, and you acknowledge that you have not relied on any representations from us in entering into the Contract which do not form part of the Contract Documents. Any variation or alteration to the Terms and Conditions shall only be binding upon us if made in writing and signed by a director of the Company. No employee, other than a company director, has authority to change the terms of the Contract.
Assignment by customer
You may not assign, transfer, charge, or declare a trust over the benefit of the Contract or any rights under it to anyone else without our prior written consent.
Each of the terms of the Contract is separate and severable, and if any term is held to be void or invalid, it shall be severed, and the remaining terms shall continue in full force.
We may on occasion, at our sole and absolute discretion, decide not to exercise or wait before exercising our rights. If we do so, we shall still be entitled to insist on the strict terms of the Contract later on.
Law and Jurisdiction
The Contract shall be governed by the laws Ireland and the courts of Ireland shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
