You don’t need to worry about that problem anymore. This converter changes the lamp socket so it will allow you to use the bayonet cap bulbs in lamps having originally the Edison screw type bulb fitting.
It’s a sturdy converter with inner Gold plating and it is all you will need to meet any need you have with converting bulbs.
